I remember getting into this for a while when the anime first came out, but then it just sort of dropped out of my radar after a few weeks. Also, it's funny that you mention it's like InuYasha; the reason I wanted to watch it to begin with was because it reminded a friend of mine of another show: Fushigi Yuugi. She suggested it to me on those grounds.  |

I can see that connection too. However Fushi Yugi didn't keep my interest very long. I did the same thing with it you did with this one it seems.
But I really really love this series. I love the drama of the assassination and take over. I love Yona's weakness and confliction... which turns into strength and resolve! I love the responsibility she takes for the kingdom and for her team. I love Hak. I feel like I understand him really well and his emotions move me. And I love all the various characters in this, even the major villain. He's surprised me twice already and it's intriguing. I'm very interested in where it's headed. You can see what Yona is becoming and how this experience is changing how she'll rule the kingdom now compared to how she would have before. I would SO follow her, rally to her cause!
